
ANGUS BEEF TENDERLOIN BAKED
➤ Ingredients (for 4 servings):
4 pieces of Angus beef tenderloin cut to a thickness of 1.5 – 2 cm
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tablespoons rosemary
2 tablespoons salt
¼ cup shallot, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup Cabernet Sauvignon
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
Salt and pepper
➤ How to cook Angus beef tenderloin:
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Mix the rosemary with the pepper and salt in a bowl and season the steak. Fry the meat on each side for 1-2 minutes. Then place the beef tenderloin in the oven for 5-10 minutes at a medium temperature, until the roast beef reaches the desired doneness. Then let it cool for five minutes and serve.
After removing the tenderloin from the pan, add the shallot and garlic to the pan and leave on the heat for about two minutes at a medium temperature. Stir in wine and mustard and keep on the heat until the sauce is reduced.
Finally add the remaining rosemary, then put the butter in the pan to melt. Remove contents from pan, adding parsley, seasoning with salt to taste. Serve the steak with the creamy and aromatic sauce.
