
SALAD WITH ANGUS TENDERLOIN
Ingredients:
diced bread
1 tablespoon butter
1 red onion – cut into quarters
1 tbsp olive oil
0,5 kg Angus beef tenderloin
salt, pepper
lettuce
cherry tomatoes, halved
3 tablespoons dried cranberries
3 tablespoons feta cheese
salad dressing (to taste)
➤ How to prepare Angus beef tenderloin salad:
Preheat the oven and then toast the bread pieces for about 15 minutes until crispy.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the onion pieces and stir slowly, constantly, until they caramelize and soften.
In a larger frying pan preheat the olive oil, brown the tenderloin pieces (details about cooking meat HERE). Once the beef has reached the desired doneness, remove it from the heat and let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb all the aromatic juices. Then slice the meat into thin slices.
Place the lettuce leaves in the bowl along with the cherry tomatoes, cranberries, feta cheese, croutons, caramelized onions and sliced sirloin steaks. Now the salad can be served.
