ANGUS BURGER
WITH ONION

➤ Ingredients (for 4 servings):

4 pieces of burger

4 slices of hard cheese

4 buns of burger with sesame

4 tablespoons of butter

16 slices of red onion (one medium onion)

4-8 pickled cucumbers (depending on size)

rucola leaves

4 slices of tomato

 

➤ Preparation mode:

Place the meatballs on the heated grill, after you have pressed a shallow indentation in the middle of one of their faces with the back of a spoon. This will ensure that in the cooking process, the patty will retain its shape and will not swell. Next to the meat, place the onions on the grill until they soften and become slightly translucent.

The meat is prepared to desired doneness, until the faces are browned (3-4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the patties). Before they reach the desired degree of cooking, top burgers with slices of hard cheese, until it is melted. Then, on the grill, next to the meat, put halves of the buns with the flat sides down and leave until a little crust is formed.

Finally, all the ingredients are assembled. First remove the buns from the grill and turn them upside down. Grease each side with some butter in order to soften and flavour the core. Then add the beef with cheese on top, the slices of pickled cucumber and finally the lightly cooked onion. Close the sandwich with the other half of the bun and enjoy.
