Sustainable Use

A little over two-thirds of all arable land in Romania consists of green spaces used for cattle breeding. These are often steep or at altitudes too high for other agricultural productions, but Angus cattle can utilize these pastures as food to obtain high-quality food. This transforms natural resources into valuable food, ensuring healthy biodiversity.

 

Low Water Consumption

Due to the large amounts of precipitation in Romania, artificial irrigation can largely be dispensed with for grasslands and pastures. While agriculture consumes about 70% of the total fresh water globally, Romania has one of the lowest consumption levels.

 

Chemical-Free Feed

The main feed for Angus cattle is grass and hay – only in the finishing phase is a contribution of silage and cereals added. Our feeds do not contain concentrates, soy, other genetically modified organisms, or bone meal. The feed is produced naturally according to organic farming criteria. Hormones and antibiotics are prohibited. There are no imports for cattle feed.
