BORSCHT WITH BEEF AND BEETS

➤Ingredients:

300-400 g beef (sirloin, stew meat, round bone roast or whatever kind of beef you like)
2 medium beets, washed, peeled and grated
1 onion
1 large carrot
1/2 medium cabbage
300 ml of borsch
3 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper
sour cream for serving (optional)

➤ Preparation mode:

Wash meat in cold water, cut into one pieces and and place in a large soup pot with 14 cups cold water and 1 Tbsp salt. Bring it to a boil and remove the foam as soon as it boils.

In another pot put the oil and 1 cups of water (the one in which the meat was cooked). Add chopped onion, cabbage, carrot and beet peeled and grated.

Over the braised vegetables, add the boiled meat and the water in which it was cooked. Add the borsch and season the soup to taste with salt and pepper and serve with sour cream.
