ANGUS BEEF GOULASH WITH POTATOES

This stew is a Hungarian recipe that is made very simply with beef.

➤Ingredients:
500 g Angus beef
1 large onion
1 carrot
5-6 potatoes
tomato paste
parsley
sage
thyme
granulated garlic
sweet or hot paprika
2-4 garlic cloves

 

➤ Preparation method:
Cut the meat into 4-5 cm cubes. Do not wash the meat, just pat it dry with a paper towel.

Heat oil in a frying pan and add chopped carrot and onion. Leave for 5-6 minutes and stir.

Add the diced pulp and cook for 4-5 minutes or until the meat is white.

Add the spices: sage, granulated garlic, sweet or hot paprika and fresh garlic.

Add enough water to cover and leave covered for 40-50 minutes or until meat is almost cooked.

Add potatoes and water if necessary.

At the end, when all the ingredients have cooked sufficiently, add broth, parsley and thyme and simmer for a few more minutes.
