NATURAL BREEDING OF ANGUS CATTLE (GRASS FED)

NATURAL BREEDING OF ANGUS CATTLE (GRASS FED)

Transylvanian Angus cattle are reared exclusively on native pastures and land unsuitable for most crops and finished with natural forage.Variations in seasonal and geographical factors influence the quality of beef from grass-fed cattle. Due to the increasing demand for natural and healthy food, Transylvanian grass-fed beef is seen as an important component of a healthy diet.

Grass-fed Angus beef cattle are naturally lower in saturated fat and cholesterol, while providing higher levels of antioxidants and Omega 3 fatty acids. Moreover, antioxidants, vitamins A and C, beta-carotene and trace elements are present in the meat that comes from these cattle. The risk of E.Coli contamination is less present for the extensive pasture system.

For these reasons, consumers are increasingly looking for meat from grass-fed cattle.
