KARPATEN MEAT GROUP – ANGUS CATTLE FARM

KARPATEN MEAT GROUP – ANGUS CATTLE FARM

The Karpaten Meat Group farms are located in Sibiu County, and within its structure, the following farms are included: the Aberdeen Angus breeding cattle farm, the fattening farm, the quarantine and import/export farm. The total population of the farms is approximately 8,000 heads and continues to grow. Reproduction, fattening, and the marketing of cattle, as well as the marketing of Angus beef – as a complete system – have been successfully practiced for the past 13 years.

The project to create a business with Angus beef cattle began in 2008 when the founders decided to explore the unlimited possibilities of Romania, where ideal conditions exist for the production of quality Angus beef.

Premium Angus beef originates from the pastures of Transylvania. Our beef is obtained naturally and healthily, sourced from Angus cattle raised in low-stress environmental conditions. The entire beef production process is fully controlled, from the calving of the calves to the delivery of the meat to our customers, providing complete traceability.

The superior quality of the beef begins with top genetics, and throughout the entire production process, the development of its quality is closely monitored. Quality development occurs from calving, the calf’s nursing by the mother for up to 7-8 months, extensive pasture-based growth, natural forages obtained on the farm during the winter, and carefully selected feeding recipes for fattening in line with the principles of sustainable agriculture. The specificity of Angus cattle beef is determined by the degree of marbling, tenderness, juiciness, and taste. All of these qualities are achieved on our farm by adhering to all stages of production.

Angus beef from the Karpaten Meat Group farm is sold through the Premium Angus online store, matured in a dry-age system.
