ANGUS BEEF
PAN-FRYING

Through this cooking method you can improve the appearance and flavour of beef. This is browned before continuing with frying, boiling or stewing. When the beef turns brown, the flavours become more complex/richer, and this is a good thing. Beef needs to be wiped with paper towels beforehand. Fry the beef in a heavy thick-bottomed pan/skillet, pouring a tablespoonful of olive oil. When the oil is very hot, add the beef and fry it without moving it until it turns brown and makes a nice brown crust. Take turns to fry the beef on all sides.
