BURGER WITH BARBECUE SAUCE &
WEDGES POTATOES (VIDEO)

Ingredients:

2 Premium Angus burgers

2 buns

2 slices of Cheddar cheese

1 tomato sliced

1 red onion sliced

2-3 pickled cucumbers

 

½ kg potatoes cut in 4 in length

2 tablespoons olive oil

2-3 tablespoons of corn starch

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper

 

1 red onion minced

1 clove of garlic

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 teaspoon of honey

1 teaspoon of brown sugar

1 teaspoon of smoked paprika

2 teaspoons Worcester sauce

100 ml of water

 

 

Preparation:

The potatoes cut in quarters are seasoned with olive oil, corn starch, salt, pepper and paprika, at first. Then place them in a tray covered with baking paper in the oven at 200°C, for about 25-30 minutes.

Roast the sliced red onion and the crushed garlic in a pan with a spoon of olive oil. Then add the tomato paste, honey, brown sugar and smoked paprika. Stir well and quench with water and Worcester sauce. At the end, season with salt and bring it all to a boil. The barbecue sauce is ready.

Cook the burgers on the grill for 2-3 minutes on each side. Before removing them from the fire, top each one with a slice of Cheddar cheese. Buns are cut in half and browned quickly before placing the burger on them.

Spread barbecue sauce on the halves of the buns and add between them the burger with the Cheddar cheese slice, a tomato slice, the onions and cucumbers. Burgers are served with potatoes and barbecue sauce.
