Remove the beef from the fridge before cooking and leave it at room temperature for the fibres to relax. Prepare the grill at the ideal temperature (if you can keep your hand on top of it for 5 seconds, it means it’s right).
Although the seasoning is normally recommended after cooking, this recipe recommends to season the beef with salt, pepper and a little oil on both sides of the piece before placing it on the grill.
Place the beef on the hot grill and leave for about 5 minutes on each side. There are several ways to check if the steak is cooked enough (the easiest way is also shown in the video below).
At the end carve the beef against fibre into thin slices or pieces.
